Ellis C. McKennie, III
Associate
Mr. McKennie is an associate at the Firm, where his practice centers on the defense of medical malpractice claims. Prior to joining the firm, he served as an associate at a Washington, D.C.-based law firm specializing in regulatory and litigation matters related to advertising and marketing. In that role, Mr. McKennie supported senior attorneys and partners throughout all phases of government investigations and litigation, including legal research, drafting memoranda on complex issues, preparing advocacy submissions to regulatory agencies, and engaging in motions practice before both state and federal courts.
Mr. McKennie earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics and his Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland, where he was elected to the University Senate and served as captain of the Maryland Terrapins football team. He received his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in 2023.
